Hortense Lukusa, CPA, CA(SA), MBA, is the Founder and Managing Partner of HK CPA LLC, a women- and minority-owned Certified Public Accounting firm licensed in Minnesota, Texas, and California. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, she built an international career in finance, audit, and consulting after earning her Bachelor of Accounting Sciences from Wits University in South Africa.
Hortense holds Chartered Accountant designations in South Africa, New Zealand/Australia, and Canada, and CPA licenses in three U.S. states. She serves as CPA to the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe (FSST), advising on audit readiness, governance, and financial reporting.
Recognized for integrity and excellence, she is serving her second term on the Finance Misconduct Committee of South Africa’s Department of Labour. Guided by the belief that accounting drives transformation, she empowers organizations to thrive with confidence.
